From Engineering Desks to Ottohahn

As an engineering executive search firm, The Ottohahn Group was built by people who started in engineering and technical leadership, not recruiting. They saw how hard it was for organizations to secure the right senior engineers and how often strong engineers struggled to find roles and teams where they could truly thrive. Moving into search was a deliberate decision to remove roadblocks from traditional recruiting and build a firm that understands both sides of the table.

We chose “Ottohahn” in honor of Otto Hahn, whose work in nuclear science reshaped the world and underscored the responsibility that comes with powerful technology. His name signals curiosity, rigor, and the weight of getting critical decisions right—values that mirror the engineering-led roles and industries we serve. Over time, clients have come to associate Ottohahn with personal service, engineered talent solutions, and long-term relationships, and many of those early engineering leaders and companies are still partners today.
