Senior Drawing Team Manager
Position Summary
The Senior Drawing Team Manager combines technical execution with team leadership. This role would manage a team of drafting and design resources, taking full ownership of work assignment, project schedules, and resource management. They would serve as both the people manager and the initial technical reviewer for SolidWorks modeling, electric motor component detailing, and geometric tolerancing.
Key Responsibilities

About the Job
To deliver electrical engineering expertise to power generation utilities and other customers. The specific accountabilities of the position are as follows:
- Provide electrical power distribution engineering analysis for new and existing nuclear power plants.
- Perform condition assessments of electrical equipment such as transformers, breakers, switch gears, electric motors, motor control centers, generators, and other power plant equipment.

- Perform and support fire hazard analyses, fire risk evaluations, fire area assessments, and fire protection engineering calculations.
- Provide technical expertise for modifications involving fire detection and alarm systems, suppression systems, fire barriers, fire doors, fire dampers, fire pumps, water supplies, and passive fire protection features.
- Evaluate fire hazards and their potential impact on safety related, non safety related, and risk-significant systems, structures, and components.
- Support deterministic and risk informed fire protection analyses.
- Interpret and apply applicable NRC requirements, NFPA codes and standards, and nuclear industry guidance.
- Develop engineering calculations, evaluations, technical reports, specifications, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Support fire protection system design, modifications, testing, inspection, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in engineering design reviews, configuration management activities, and facility modification projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Support regulatory, licensing, inspection, and audit activities as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Professional experience in fire protection engineering, nuclear power, nuclear facilities, industrial fire protection.
- Knowledge of fire protection engineering principles, including fire detection and suppression systems, passive fire protection, fire barriers, and fire risk assessment.
- Familiarity with applicable fire protection codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (NFPA 805, Appendix R).
- Ability to interpret technical and regulatory requirements and apply sound engineering judgment.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Technical Evaluations of mechanical and electrical commercial grade items to identify critical characteristics based on their design and safety functions.

- Evaluate the results of external testing laboratories performing material verification and destructive/non destructive testing.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of engineering experience within the nuclear industry, with a direct focus on Commercial Grade Dedication.
- Deep understanding of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, and ASME NQA-1 quality assurance criteria.
- Proficient in the application of EPRI commercial grade dedication guidelines and familiarity with ASME Section III.

Summary:
ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) ensures the quality aspect of activities affecting engineering, procurement, dedication/qualification, and manufacturing processes for items and services provided to nuclear facilities strictly comply with the ASME NQA-1 standard. The individual will monitor with attention to detail the documentation which supports these activities on a consistent basis. Additionally, supports audits that meet NRC and DOE regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an NQA-1 compliant quality assurance program.
- Review project deliverables, procurement requisitions, and quality verification documents to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct internal and external vendor audits, as an NQA-1 auditor.
- Identify, evaluate, and track nonconforming items or processes and develop/maintain corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Ensure alignment with related nuclear quality frameworks such as 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR21.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or an associate’s degree in an Engineering with 5+ years of NQA-1 related experience.
- 5+ years of experience in NQA-1 Quality Assurance. Lead Auditor certification will be required in the future if not currently certified. Working knowledge of NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21 requirements, and industry related standards such as EPRI and IEEE.

About the Job
To deliver electrical engineering expertise to power generation utilities and other customers. The specific accountabilities of the position are as follows:
- Provide electrical power distribution engineering analysis for new and existing nuclear power plants.

Nuclear Fire Protection Engineer – (Direct Hire, Remote)
About the Role:
We are partnered with a top nuclear industry leader to hire a Nuclear Fire Protection Engineer with direct nuclear power experience. This is a direct hire, in house position offering full benefits, paid time off, and remote flexibility. Major Duties / Responsibilities:
- Perform and support fire hazard analyses, fire risk evaluations, fire area assessments, and fire protection engineering calculations.
- Provide technical expertise for modifications involving fire detection and alarm systems, suppression systems, fire barriers, fire doors, fire dampers, fire pumps, water supplies, and passive fire protection features.
- Evaluate fire hazards and their potential impact on safety related, non safety related, and risk-significant systems, structures, and components.
- Support deterministic and risk informed fire protection analyses.
- Interpret and apply applicable NRC requirements, NFPA codes and standards, and nuclear industry guidance.
- Develop engineering calculations, evaluations, technical reports, specifications, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Support fire protection system design, modifications, testing, inspection, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in engineering design reviews, configuration management activities, and facility modification projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Support regulatory, licensing, inspection, and audit activities as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Professional experience in fire protection engineering, nuclear power, nuclear facilities, industrial fire protection.
- Knowledge of fire protection engineering principles, including fire detection and suppression systems, passive fire protection, fire barriers, and fire risk assessment.
- Familiarity with applicable fire protection codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (NFPA 805, Appendix R).
- Ability to interpret technical and regulatory requirements and apply sound engineering judgment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Experience with NRC fire protection requirements and nuclear licensing bases, probabilistic risk assessment, fire modeling, or risk-informed engineering.
- Experience with fire protection system design, testing, inspection, or maintenance.

Position Summary:
The Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) Engineer implements and manages the dedication process for commercially procured items and services intended for safety related pump motor, and rotating equipment applications. This role ensures all commercial grade items meet technical and quality requirements before being accepted for use in safety related applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Technical Evaluations of mechanical and electrical commercial grade items to identify critical characteristics based on their design and safety functions.
- Created Commercial Grade Dedication Plans that provide specific inspection, testing, and survey methods required to verify critical characteristics.
- Evaluate the results of external testing laboratories performing material verification and destructive/non destructive testing.
- Review and approve final dedication packages, assuring complete traceability and compliance with ASME NQA-1 and customer specifications.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance to support project schedules, resolve non conformances, and evaluate technical deviations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of engineering experience within the nuclear industry, with a direct focus on Commercial Grade Dedication.
- Deep understanding of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, and ASME NQA-1 quality assurance criteria.

Summary:
ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) ensures the quality aspect of activities affecting engineering, procurement, dedication/qualification, and manufacturing processes for items and services provided to nuclear facilities strictly comply with the ASME NQA-1 standard. The individual will monitor with attention to detail the documentation which supports these activities on a consistent basis. Additionally, supports audits that meet NRC and DOE regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an NQA-1 compliant quality assurance program.
- Review project deliverables, procurement requisitions, and quality verification documents to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

- Evaluate fire hazards and their potential impact on safety related, non safety related, and risk-significant systems, structures, and components.

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Professional experience in fire protection engineering, nuclear power, nuclear facilities, industrial fire protection.

Position Summary:
The Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) Engineer implements and manages the dedication process for commercially procured items and services intended for safety related pump motor, and rotating equipment applications. This role ensures all commercial grade items meet technical and quality requirements before being accepted for use in safety related applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Technical Evaluations of mechanical and electrical commercial grade items to identify critical characteristics based on their design and safety functions.
- Created Commercial Grade Dedication Plans that provide specific inspection, testing, and survey methods required to verify critical characteristics.
- Evaluate the results of external testing laboratories performing material verification and destructive/non destructive testing.
- Review and approve final dedication packages, assuring complete traceability and compliance with ASME NQA-1 and customer specifications.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance to support project schedules, resolve non conformances, and evaluate technical deviations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of engineering experience within the nuclear industry, with a direct focus on Commercial Grade Dedication.
- Deep understanding of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, and ASME NQA-1 quality assurance criteria.
- Proficient in the application of EPRI commercial grade dedication guidelines and familiarity with ASME Section III.
- Understanding of the design, materials, and operation of rotating equipment.

Summary:
ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) ensures the quality aspect of activities affecting engineering, procurement, dedication/qualification, and manufacturing processes for items and services provided to nuclear facilities strictly comply with the ASME NQA-1 standard. The individual will monitor with attention to detail the documentation which supports these activities on a consistent basis. Additionally, supports audits that meet NRC and DOE regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an NQA-1 compliant quality assurance program.
- Review project deliverables, procurement requisitions, and quality verification documents to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct internal and external vendor audits, as an NQA-1 auditor.
- Identify, evaluate, and track nonconforming items or processes and develop/maintain corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Ensure alignment with related nuclear quality frameworks such as 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR21.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or an associate’s degree in an Engineering with 5+ years of NQA-1 related experience.
- 5+ years of experience in NQA-1 Quality Assurance. Lead Auditor certification will be required in the future if not currently certified. Working knowledge of NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21 requirements, and industry related standards such as EPRI and IEEE.
