Summary:

Nuclear I&C Electrical Engineer – Reverse Engineering supports the reverse engineering of obsolete electronics, develops replacement component solutions, creates electrical schematics, performs circuit analysis, and supports the testing and qualification of nuclear plant components. This is a rare opportunity to become the technical expert for a newly developing engineering group. Rather than stepping into an established team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the reverse engineering program from the ground up while working alongside an exceptional group of engineers supporting the commercial nuclear industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and support reverse engineering activities in accordance with procedural requirements
• Perform reverse engineering of printed circuit boards (PCBs), electrical assemblies, and electronic systems used in high-reliability applications.
• Experience with analog and digital electronics, schematic capture, circuit analysis, component level troubleshooting, failure analysis, and obsolescence solutions
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and procurement documentation
• Develop and execute technical evaluations, test plans, and inspection criteria
• Provide technical guidance on material selection, design verification, and component suitability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering or an associate’s degree in an Engineering with 5+ years of nuclear experience
• Strong understanding of nuclear codes and standards (ASME, NQA-1, etc.)
• Experience in commercial nuclear, defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries
