Nuclear Electrical I&C Engineer
The Ottohahn Group is partnering with a premier nuclear supplier supporting both the existing U.S. fleet and advanced reactor technologies. We are hiring Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineers to join their growing team.
Location: Onsite, Hybrid, or Fully Remote (U.S. based, ~5% travel)
Type: Direct Hire, Full Benefits
Description:
- Design and review I&C and electrical systems (control, safety, power distribution).
- Support digital upgrades, safety-related control systems, and post-accident monitoring
- Perform engineering studies (load flow, short circuit, coordination, setpoint, loop uncertainty)
- Prepare and implement modification packages, technical documentation, and lifecycle plans
- Conduct condition assessments of major electrical equipment (transformers, motors, switchgear, generators)
- Westinghouse Common Q projects, digital I&C upgrades, ETAP software, lifecycle inspection/test program experience
Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or other applicable discipline
- 2+ years of U.S. Commercial Nuclear Power experience (utility, OEM, EOC, or supplier)
- Knowledge of nuclear plant systems, codes, and standards (IEEE, IEC, RG 1.97)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to export control laws)
